The Fright at the Met Scavenger Hunt
Gaze at your own risk…
…as you explore the art of darkness while searching for skulls and skeletons, hideous monsters, severed heads, horrifying devices, mortifying martyrs, cold-blooded killers, freaky beasts, and other assorted ghouls in the galleries of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Your skin might crawl…but your team shouldn’t if you want to win!
Your team’s quest: solve tricky, humorous clues about the creepy sights you uncover. One thing not to be scared of: this is not a trivia game. No previous knowledge of the art or the museum is required. You just need sharp eyes, comfy shoes, and maybe some garlic to ward off…well, just don’t worry about it.
On this Halloween scavenger hunt, you might encounter…
- People raised from the dead, right out of their coffin
- A ghostly creature painted out of a Bible scene
- A glittering container for a saint’s skull
- Satan lurking and winged demons diving
This spooky scavenger hunt is a fun way to celebrate the season with a company outing, private Halloween party, and more!
To dress up or not to dress up? That is the question…
Feel free to come dressed in your Halloween costumes, but please note that the Met will not allow anyone into the museum wearing a mask or face paint.
This game makes for a great NYC Halloween team building activity for friends and fiends alike. Click below to see the public hunt schedule, or contact us about a private hunt for your group—and find more devilish fun in New York City!
