What Is a Scavenger Hunt?
Fun Team-Building Activities—with a Dash of Culture
How Do the Scavenger Hunts Work?
Our scavenger hunts use witty, funny questions and creative challenges that bring out the best in a fascinating place—and in you and your teammates. You can explore a famous museum, a great neighborhood, or other cool venues. Special editions add a murder mystery or an “escape game” puzzle. Or we can bring the game to your office. What our clients are saying
“Our team had great fun with the game, and Shae [the host] was wonderful!!! After a three-day virtual meeting we all needed a bit of fun, and this was a great way to end it. Some wrote to me right after we finished the activity to tell me how much fun they had had. I really enjoyed it and would have wished for more time! 😊 It was great to do something non work-related with the group. I will definitely be recommending the experience!” —Julia Abalo, Project Coordinator & Executive Assistant to Regional President, International Developed Markets, Internal Medicine
“Thanks for the energy and creativity you put into our hunt at the Met—incredibly original....I loved your witty questions and racing through the museum. Everyone was thrilled. You have 50 new Watson Adventures groupies.” —Jeff Bezos, founder & CEO
“Our agency had a great day yesterday doing the Secrets of Old Boston Hunt. Most of the staff had never participated in a professionally facilitated hunt before, so it was a new experience for the majority. The staff thought it was fun: the questions were tricky and made us look at Boston in a whole new way.”
“The team cannot stop saying how much fun they had with this event! Val was an awesome host and the game was very interactive and created some great teamwork. I was very impressed with the virtual setup and format of the game.” —Robert Cahill, VP | Senior Manager of Operations Strategy, Citizens Commercial Banking Operations
“We had a blast. I received nothing but rave reviews for the event: ‘This is the best off-site I’ve ever been to,’ etc. The activity was beyond any expectation I had. We loved the questions, and what a great environment [the American Museum of Natural History] to have a scavenger hunt. Ophira [the Hunt Host] was great: she handled the one extremely late team member with ease. Should the situation arise, I’ll highly recommend Watson Adventures to anyone looking for ideas for team building or a party.”
“I liked the level of interaction that took place while we were together. I also loved the energy that we shared in pursuing a common goal.” —Pierre Dobson
“Thank you for executing a great hunt! We had a fabulous time—we are still talking about it! It was great to work with you, and I certainly look forward to working with you again in the future.” —Kristin Beebe, special events manager, O, The Oprah Magazine. (We created a citywide limousine hunt for the O ad-sales team, in which every question related to the magazine, Oprah Winfrey, or the magazine’s sales goals.)
“The hunt was great. It is the perfect party for adventurous, curious kids of all ages.” —Cynthia Rowley, fashion designer
“We found Watson Adventures to be a tremendous partner. From concept to execution, they worked with us in developing a smart, strategically aligned team-building initiative. Equally importantly, their follow-through, attention to detail, and implementation was flawless. We would strongly recommend them to any group or company looking to enhance their inter-team collaboration and effectiveness.” —John Partilla, president
“We all truly had a fantastic hunt! Shannon [the Hunt Host] and her assistant were pros. It felt like a highly organized, top-notch adventure.”
