Discover the fine art of team building…
…on a laugh-filled quest to uncover the oddest details and most surprising secrets about masterpieces at the North Carolina Museum of Art. You’ll follow a trail of clues through the galleries and answer tricky, humorous questions about what you find. Don’t worry: you don’t need to know a Pollock from a Picasso or a Renoir from a Rembrandt. No previous knowledge is required to play and even win. You just need sharp eyes, comfy shoes, and great teamwork.
Choose from three different options
- The NCMA Mania Scavenger Hunt is our most freewheeling hunt, where you’ll see the most art and be challenged with the most questions. We also offer a version of this game for kids, ages 7 and up, that’s ideal for school field trips.
- The Murder at the Art Museum Scavenger Hunt adds a mystery for you to solve. The Watson Adventures staffer who was supposed to host your hunt was found murdered at the museum, and you’ll have to find out who wanted him dead and why.
- The Escape the Art Museum Scavenger Hunt adds escape room–style puzzles involving the art, concocted by an evil genius who has poisoned you. If you can answer the questions and crack the code to the box containing the antidote, you just might save your life—and win!
Please note: the minimum fee is $2,000 for up to 35 hunters.
