The Country Music Mania Scavenger Hunt
You’ll need to show a lot of pluck…
…on this whirlwind tour of the wildest, weirdest, and most wonderful objects on display at the Country Music Hall of Fame. But hold it right there: you don’t need to know a lick of country music, or even like it, to be utterly fascinated by and victorious on this adventure. On teams, you’ll follow a trail of clues that lead you to amazing objects, and you’ll answer tricky, humorous questions about what you discover.
Your search might include…
- Elvis Presley’s Cadillac, coated with crushed diamonds and fish scales
- A bag of flour that could turn into Roy Acuff
- Blindingly snazzy costumes designed by Nudie the Rodeo Tailor
- Webb Pierce’s 1962 Pontiac, festooned with guns, horseshoes, and silver dollars
- Instruments twanged by Lefty Frizzell’s wicked southpaw punch
- Private telegrams from Johnny Cash and June Carter
You might tackle such questions as…
- Find a display case that could be brought to you by Ambien. How did Lee apologize to Parisians? Answer: In the Sweet Dreams exhibit, Brenda Lee’s song “I’m Sorry” is translated to “Pardonne-Moi.”
- Find a guy who’s doin’ it with his eyes closed. Which one of his companions was poked until it broke? Answer: Bill Monroe’s mandolin, his “constant companion,” was destroyed with a fireplace poker when an intruder broke into his home.
Don’t worry if you didn’t know the answers. You’ll find them when standing in the right spot and with the help of your teammates. You don’t need to know anything about the music or the memorabilia to win: you just need sharp eyes and comfy shoes.
This twangified, fun-filled game will have your teammates yodeling your praises for days afterward.

Murder at the Country Music Hall of Fame Scavenger Hunt
A musical killer lurks among you…
…and this villainous virtuoso is set to knock your team-building trip to the Country Music Hall of Fame out of tune. Someone in your group, possibly on your own team, is tired of playing second fiddle and plans to make the fat lady sing—for all of you!
But as luck would have it, this game gives you a chance to prevent your own murder. Everyone in your group has been secretly poisoned, and the clock is ticking down on your time left to live. To save yourselves and get the antidote, you and your teammates must band together, complete various fun challenges, and reveal the killer’s identity.
The killer has hidden their identity in a scavenger hunt at the museum. Your team will solve a series of interlocking puzzles, decipher coded messages, and meet the conditions of creative, collaborative photo prompts.
Along the way, your team might…
- Act like Elvis along side his “Solid Gold” Cadillac limousine.
- Pose for your own album cover.
- Tackle a trivia quiz about famous murder mysteries.
- Interrogate country music stars for clues.
- Identify murderous movies and snippets of killer songs.
If your group loves escape-room games, they’ll love this music museum scavenger hunt. The game will also help you entertain a diverse group of people while boosting morale and teamwork. It’s perfect for a private party or a corporate team-building outing of any size.
A Kids Edition is also available, in which kids age 7 and up work with adults. It’s a great activity for a school field trip, birthday party, and more.
