The Spies in the Galleries Scavenger Hunt

Can you expose a spy and his coded message?

The galleries are filled with intrigue on this spy game at the Smithsonian. David Park, the Watson Adventures staffer who had created a scavenger hunt for your group, is missing, vanished without a trace.

There’s reason to believe that Park was leading a double life as a spy. But for what country? And why?

The only clues to his whereabouts might be in the game he created. We need you to play his game and see if there are any hidden messages in it. The fate of the free world might be in your hands.

The trail of clues will lead you to…

  • A nuclear football in the American Presidency exhibit
  • The meaning of the Agent Scully Effect
  • A defaced Andrew Jackson $20 bill in a “vault”
  • A typewriter that unleashed nationwide hysteria

…and many more objects of intrigue. Can your team crack a cryptic code and save the day? The clock is ticking…
