The Murder at the LACMA Scavenger Hunt
LACMA is currently undergoing major renovations, making our hunts unavailable. Instead, consider our hunts at the Getty Center or, just across Wilshire from LACMA, the Petersen Automotive Museum.
This game will keep you guessing till the very end
At the start of this scavenger hunt, you find yourself smack in the middle of a crime scene at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. A Watson Adventures staffer has been murdered, and it’s up to your team to catch his killer. Here’s your first clue: before he died, the victim used his own blood to draw a star on the ground. What was he trying to tell us?
As you solve the puzzle he left behind, you’ll learn about his dangerous double life—and try to prevent a catastrophic international incident. You’ll also uncover the secrets of the museum, finding details in art that turn out to be part of a cryptic code. The fate of the free world may depend on your team’s ability to decipher the clues and work together.
