Mount Kisco: The Munch Around Mount Kisco Scavenger Hunt
The charming downtown of Mount Kisco has turned into a northern Westchester food mecca. Within an easy walk you can take a culinary tour of the world, with stops at acclaimed eateries offering such cuisines Asian fusion, Greek, Indian, Mexican, new American, Thai and Italian. Plus there are mouth-watering opportunities for desserts ranging from authentic gelati to UFO cookies. On this hunt you’ll be challenged to answer questions about interesting and unusual stores and historic spots in Mount Kisco while collecting and sampling your choice of tasty morsels along the way. The winners are the the ones with the best teamwork—and your taste buds. This hunt requires walking outdoors with indoors stops. Purchase: Neuberger Museum of Art
On the campus of SUNY’s Purchase College, this museum combines a great collection of paintings by modern masters with special exhibits on cutting-edge contemporary works and a distinctive gallery of African art. As on all of our acclaimed art museum hunts, you and your team will be searching for answers to tricky questions about the more surprising and unusual aspects of the works on display. You don’t need any special knowledge about art: you just need sharp eyes and good teamwork. The availability of this hunt is subject to the timing and nature of the special exhibitions currently on display. To round out an hour-and-a-half hunt, we recommend combining this hunt with our lively Know Your Teammates Quiz, where you must identify people on other teams based on surprising, little-known facts about them. For more information about the museum, visit www.neuberger.org. Contact us for more information about the hunt.

Tarrytown: Lyndhurst
Lead the life of a Gilded Age robber baron, if only for an afternoon, on a hunt that goes from the palatial rooms of a Gothic mansion to the large and lush grounds of the estate. Lyndhurst mansion and its grounds were once the domain of Jay Gould, the multi-millionaire who made his fortune in railroads. His home looks just about the way he left it. This hunt requires good weather because you’ll also explore the beautiful gardens and paths past the carriage house, the conservatory and the bowling alley. You don’t need to know the history of Lyndhurst or its residents to tackle the hunt’s tricky questions, you just need sharp eyes and good teamwork. You can also add Team Photo Challenges, in which each team is equipped with a camera to meet the criteria of unusual photo ops, with bonus points going to the team with the most creative photos. Lyndhurst has a caterer for a possible post-hunt party. For more information about Lyndhurst, visit www.lyndhurst.org. For more information about the hunt, contact us.

A home built by Mark Twain for one of his daughters, the building has rooms spacious and intimate, in a building tucked into a hillside with views of the Hudson River and the hills beyond. During your visit, if you need an activity to provide an exciting break and help people get better acquainted, you need our special Tappan Hill Challenge scavenger hunt. Your team will not only see the most interesting and historical aspects of the facility, you’ll also tackle challenges that involve great works of art, movies set in New York City, quirky trivia and Team Photo Challenges. You can also add our Know You Colleagues Challenge in which participants must identify fellow competitors based on surprising details about them.
