HOW THE GAME WORKS
Watson Adventures offers scavenger hunt games at museums and in neighorboods throughout the country that provide you and your team with the opportunity to explore exhibits and locations through fresh eyes while searching for clues to solve a murder mystery.
Your team of up to six people will uncover secrets while tackling witty, tricky questions. The game is perfect for fans of murder mystery dinners and whodunnit books as well as anyone with a keen sense of curiosity. No previous knowledge is required.
Murder mystery hunts are offered in New York, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Washington, D.C. Any hunt can be staged as a private event for a corporate team building outing, birthday party, bachelorette party or other occasion. Contact us for details on organizing your event.

CHOOSE YOUR MYSTERY
Your team will be challenged with solving one of the following murder mysteries. We’ll provide you with clues and background information, but it’s up to you and your team to unravel the mystery and pinpoint the killer. Each plot is specific to the type of museum or neighoborhood in which you’re hunting.
“Who Killed the Curator?” Art Museum Murder Mystery
A murdered curator has left behind a cryptic trail of clues connected with secrets in works of art. As your team gathers answers about the art, you begin to piece together a sordid tale about greed, lust, pride, revenge and treachery, all revolving around the museum’s planned multi-million dollar purchase of a rare painting by Leonardo da Vinci. The murder victim knew too much—and now it’s your turn to learn what he knew and discover what drove one of four suspects to commit murder. To find out, you’ll have to crack a secret code left in the victim’s appointment calendar. Can you figure out who dunnit?

“Beware the Curse!” Natural History & Science Museum Mystery
Someone, or some thing, has been bumping off museum staffers involved in a special acquisition. Are they victims of a dreaded curse? Or is a serial killer on the loose? Your team of sleuths will have to crack a secret code and uncover the museum’s secrets to solve the mystery and stop the killings. Depending on the museum, this plot may feature an Aztec idol, an Egyptian relic or a long-lost invention by Benjamin Franklin.

The “Spies Everyhwere!” Outdoor Murder Mystery
A Watson Adventures staffer has been murdered, and we need your help to catch his killer. Before he died, he drew a star on the ground with his blood. What does this mean? It turns out that the victim lived a dangerous double life. Can you piece together the puzzle he left behind in time to head off an international incident with catastrophic consequences? Along the way, you'll also uncover the secrets of a fascinating historical neighborhood, where many a surprising detail turns out to be part of a secret code. You'll need to make sense of cryptic clues, crack a code and send a text message to the dead man. The fate of the free world may depend on your teamwork. Please note: This scavenger hunt requires the use of a cell phone.
